By the end of the previous lesson, you’ve had a chance to add all components and connections into your schematics. By the end of the process, your schematic should look similar to this:

Since the schematics are now finished, we can now import these components into the PCB layout and prepare the PCB for placement and routing. The tasks to complete in this section include:

1. Validate all changes to the PCB layout using the Import tool
2. Create the PCB stackup
3. Set the board shape for the blank PCB
4. Verify the default design rules will be appropriate for this board
